RPSC RAS 2024 Exam : Notification, Syllabus

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts the RAS/ RTS Combined Competitive Exam for officers recruited in the state cadre of civil service officers. the selected officer gave their respected service in the field of administration, police, revenue, and other projects.

Till date RAS 2022 vacancy is not released due to covid pandmics but RPSC is working on. It will be releaed soon.

Now takling about RAS wich is also known as the Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Exam have three-stage prosess just like indian civil service examintion.

Eligibility for RPSC RAS Exam:

Educational Qualification:- Candidate, who passed a graduation degree from a recognized board or university, can apply for this post-university should be based on an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government in consultation with the Commission.
Age limit for RAS Examination: Minimum 21 years and maximum less than 40 years. (As per RAS 2023 notification)
Non-gazetted officer: Age should not be less than 25 years and not greater than 45 years.

Stage 1. RAS Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination is about general knowledge and general science.

Exam contained objective-type questions.
maximum marks you can obtain 200 in this exam.
Pre-exam obtained marks will not be counted in final merit. Hence, candidates need to just clear the exam.
Each wrong answer is to punish as 1/3 of the negative mark.

Stage 2. RAS Mains Examination

After passing pre-examination canddited go into the RAS Main Examination that is set of four paper.

Each paper is 200 marks and 3 hours duration.
Each paper is descriptive/analytical.
And also these numbers are caunt while making merit list.

Afet clearing the mains examination by RPSC. Candidate should be apear in an interview for a perspective test that carries 100 marks.
In this interview marks are also awarded for the candidate’s knowledge of the Rajasthani culture.
Total marks obtained in Mains as well as the Interview round are added into final merit list.
